To check a company in Georgia, search the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) at napr.gov.ge by name or 9-digit registration code. You will find registration status, directors, founders, and the date of incorporation. For UBO chains, liens, court records, and procurement history, use GE360 which aggregates six official Georgian sources.

Every legal entity registered in Georgia receives a unique 9-digit registration code (სარეგისტრაციო კოდი, saregistracio kodi) issued by NAPR at the time of incorporation. This code is the primary identifier used in all official documents, tax filings, and court records.
To find a company's registration code, visit napr.gov.ge and search by company name. The code appears in the search results and on every official extract (ამონაწერი). You can also find it on contracts, invoices, and corporate seals — it is always 9 digits with no letters.
GE360 indexes all 364,058 registered companies [GE360 registry data, 2026] and lets you search by name or code on /search. Results include the registration code, current status, and a link to the full dossier.
The Georgian company registry maintained by NAPR contains the following for each registered entity: legal name, legal form (LLC, JSC, IE, etc.), registration date, registered address, share capital, directors (მმართველი), founders (დამფუძნებელი) and their ownership percentages, and current status (active, suspended, dissolved, or in liquidation).
Official registry extracts (ამონაწერი) also include the full history of amendments — every change of director, address, or share transfer is timestamped in the extract. These documents are legally binding and widely used in transactions, litigation, and compliance filings.
Beyond the core registry, the NAPR portal also holds mortgage and pledge records. Court enforcement records, procurement contracts, and tax liens are held by separate agencies.
Georgian companies can have one of four statuses: active (მოქმედი), suspended (შეჩერებული), in liquidation (ლიკვიდაციის პროცესში), or dissolved (ლიკვიდირებული). Only active companies can enter into legally binding contracts and hold bank accounts in the normal course of business.
To check status, search on napr.gov.ge or use GE360 search. GE360 displays the status prominently on every company dossier and flags suspended or dissolved entities with a warning. Of the 819,283 registered businesses [GE360 registry data, 2026], only 169,661 are currently active [GE360 registry data, 2026] — meaning over 79% are inactive.
Suspension in Georgia typically follows a tax authority finding or a court order. Before transacting, always verify that the counterparty's status is active and that no recent suspension has been filed.
Director and founder information is part of the public company registry and is available free of charge on napr.gov.ge. An official extract shows each director's name, national ID or passport number, and the date of their appointment. For founders, it shows their name and ownership percentage.
Note that NAPR shows the declared ownership structure — the immediate shareholders. If a founder is itself a company, you need to trace through additional layers to identify the ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs). This is where GE360 adds significant value: it traverses multi-level shareholding chains across all registered entities.

An extract (ამონაწერი, amonaweri) is an official certified document from NAPR that lists all registry information for a company at a given point in time. You can obtain one through napr.gov.ge or at an NAPR service center. It is the legally authoritative document used in court, banking, and contract processes.
NAPR's portal primarily searches by Georgian (Mkhedruli) script names or by registration code. GE360 indexes both Georgian names and their romanized transliterations, so you can search in Latin script on ge360llc.com and find the matching entity.
